India will have normal rains this year

There is buzz that India will receive below normal rains this year.  I asked the question: Will the rains this monsoon season be 'normal' for India as a whole on average? The seed I gave is 50.

Chart and significators:

While I have not studied mundane astrology, I can try to infer the result.

The 4th house in mundane astrology has to do with weather, rainfall and agricultural produce. The fourth house sublord is Rahu. Rahu is posited in the star of of Moon. So the 4th house is not marred by any retrograde planet. Moon is also the karaka for water. So perhaps this is a good sign.

Looking at Nadi methodology, the relevant DBAs (covering the traditional monsoon season) are JU-VE-RA and JU-VE-JU

Jupiter signifies 4 11 at star level. Importantly the 8th house of delays, disappointments, large losses and tensions within the country is not signified..

Venus signifies 4 11 at the sub level. Again the 8th house is not signified. The 12th house of expenses is signified but at planet level and thus has limited power only.

Rahu signifies 4 11 at planet and sub level. 8 and 12 are not signified at all.

Based on this I have to conclude that while India may have regional variations (as that was not my question), but overall as a country India's rains will be normal this year, whatever the met department might say now. Lets wait till October 2015 and see if this prediction has proved correct or not! Hope it is :)

Will the land bill ever become law?

The Hon'ble PM of India, Shri Narendra Modi, is struggling with getting a land acquisition bill passed in both houses of the parliament. The proposed bill (that is currently in ordinance form) will make it easier for the government to acquire land at fair prices from farmers to put up national developmental and infrastructure facilities. However, the ruling coalition (NDA) does not have a majority in the upper house of India's parliament and as such even if it gets the bill through the lower house will not be able to pass the law in the upper house due to push back from a united opposition.

I asked a question: Will the current land bill ever become law ie. be passed in both houses? Seed: 232. The following are the significators and chart:

I decided to look at third house (since it deals with an agreement being arrived at on a written law), the 6th house (victory over opposition), and 11th house (gains).

KP rules:
The 3rd CSL is Mercury, Mercury is retrograde. This will not give positive results.

The 6th CSL is Venus. Venus signifies 5th house of gain to opposition and 8th house of difficulty. It is not signifying any of the victory houses of 6 or 11. So 6th CSL will not help in passing law.

The 11th CSL is Jupiter. Jupiter is posited in a constellation owned by Mercury, which is retrograde. So even 11th CSL suggests adverse result.


Nadi rules:

DBA is RA-SU-JU.

Rahu is not signifying any positive houses of 2 6 10 11, but is signifying 5 8 in star. 5th is 11th to 7th and 8th is the house of difficulty for native.

Sun is marginally positive with 10 in the Sub, but it also signifies 1 5 there. Also 5 8 in star.

Jupiter is similar to Sun's significations.

It appears that the land bill, atleast in the current form, can never be passed. Perhaps it is advisable for Narendra Modi to invest his political elsewhere.

This is one of the few times when I hope I am wrong.






  

2002 Footie World cup rigged?

Ms. Jessica Adams is a very experienced astrologer and has been very kind and encouraging to me in our few interactions. She had made a few predictions regarding FIFA, some of which events are unfolding even as I type this.

Today in a tweet to me, she mentioned about the rumour that has been going around for long that the 2002 world cup was rigged. I wondered if the stars would confirm the veracity of the rumour.

I asked the question, "There is a rumour that the 2002 world cup was rigged, is this true?" and gave the seed '114'. The following chart and significators were cast:

As per Nadi rules, if the news/ rumour is true then DBA signifies 3 11, on the other hand if the news is just a rumour then DBA planets signify 3 6 8 12.

The relevant DBA is RA-VE-MA. Rahu is also the 3rd cuspal sub lord.

Rahu signifies 1 9 10 in planet and sub, and 2 11 in star. So Rahu neither confirms nor denies the rumour.

Bhukti lord Venus signifies 3 in sub and 11 in star.

Antara lord Mars signifies 3 at planet and 11 in star.

At no point do the DBA lords signify 3 6 8 12 which would have dismissed the rumour as false.

So based on my limited knowledge of Nadi is does appear that there is something more to the rumours of the 2002 world cup being rigged. This appears to support Ms. Adams experienced view.

Notably, I had made a prediction about 2022 world cup, perhaps the above result will come about as a fall out of that?

Will 2022 Football world cup happen as scheduled in Qatar?

Apart from the FIFA president polls that will likely commence in a few hours, there has been some controversy regarding the 2022 winning bid by Qatar to host the World Cup of Football.

Lets check with my limited knowledge of astrology, if the event will happen in Qatar as scheduled. I do not know the exact schedule but it is likely to be about a month long event  with the finals slated to be on December 18, 2022.

My question was: Will the 2022 Football world cup happen in Qatar as scheduled? The Seed was 202.

The chart and significators are as follows:

The relevant DBA for me would be the one when the event will be held. So it has to be RA-RA-KE. Ketu antara runs from 13th Nov 2022 to 9th Jan 2023.

The first thing that strikes me is that every planet in the DBA is exclusively of first rate malefics Rahu and Ketu. As per page 241 in Prashna: A Contemporary Treatise, Umang Taneja says "Readers should understand that when DBA is of first rated malefic exclusively then the type of question which comes in front of astrologer is worst and the answer to the question is also adverse most of the time."

Anyway, lets get back to the DBA lord analysis. Now this is the tricky bit, I have not analysed a question like this before and do not know what positive combination to look for. But given that this is a matter of reputation for Qatar I would expect to see 10th cusp. Since it means fulfillment of desires, it might need to signify the 11th cusp. Also, I would expect to see the 4th cusp as well. The opposing cusps would likely be the 6 8 12 combination. 3 and 9 houses would also oppose I suppose the 4th and the 10th cusps.

Rahu signifies 6 8 9 in planet, 9 in star and again 6 8 9 in the sub. The only positive house here is the 4th house, which is perhaps not enough to withstand the opposition here.

Ketu has similar significations but it also signifies the direct negation combination of 6 8 12.

Thus it appears that the venue for the 2022 World Cup will be changed from Qatar.

FIFA Presidential elections

FIFA Presidential elections will be held later today I believe and there are two contenders for the top post:

1) Sepp Blatter; and
2) Prince Hussein

I asked the question and took the following seeds:
157 for Sepp Blatter and 163 for Prince Hussein

The following are the charts and significators for Sepp Blatter:

The 6th CSL is Sun. Sun signifies the 6th cusp through its own occupation and the 11th cusp through the occupation of its starlord Moon. It is not signifying either 5 or 12 at all (the are victory houses for the opponent). It is a very strong indication for the victory for the Incumbent Sepp.

The 7th CSL is Jupiter (7th cusp represents the opponent). Jupiter is in the star of Mercury. Mercury is retrograde and as per KP horary rules the result will not come through for the opponent. Page 146 of the 6th Reader clearly says "Planets in direct motion if deposited in the constellation of a retrograde planet, one cannot have success".

Thus Sepp's chart is very strong for victory for him.

Lets look at it with the Nadi methodology.

The 6th CSL is Mercury. it signifies 11 in Planet and star, which is positive for victory. It does not indicate the defeat combination of 6 8 12. It does show a scattered 7 8 12 which indicates perhaps a tough campaign.

The current DBA is MO-SU-ME.

Moon signifies 6 10 11, Sun is signifying 6 10 11 as well. We have already seen Mercury's significations. So It appears that Mr. Sepp's chart is indicating victory for him.


Let us corroborate this result with Prince Hussein. The chart and significators are as follows:

The 6th CSL  is Mercury. Mercury is retrograde. I understand from a paper by Shri Andrew Dutta that, "...regarding horary, Shri KSK gave a set of golden rules. They are:
1) The most important house cusp sub lord should itself not be retrograde at the time of judgement.
2) The sub lord should not occupy a star whose lord is retrograde at the time of judgement
3) The main house cuspal sub lord should be related with the other houses pertaining to the question

Finally, rules 1, 2, 3 should be simultaneously satisfied to denote a positive answer. If any one of the Rules 1,2,3 is not satisfied, it shows  negative result for the query. Results will not fructify"

As such, the main house of victory is itself impaired for Prince Hussein, and victory seems tough.

Let us look at Nadi rules:

The 6th CSL is Mercury. As can be seen above significators, ME signifies 6 8 12 quite clearly indicating defeat.

Since the DBA lords cannot grant what the main cuspal sublord has denied, it would corroborate that Prince Hussein will not win this vote, as per my astrological understanding.

A question on Conspiracy theory!

This was such a way out there question that I must admit I thought twice, maybe thrice before putting it out here. And I will be ok to remove it if someone has an issue with this. But it was so interesting, that I could not resist.

To all those who may be offended can I please say that the following text is all a work of imagination, and any resemblance to reality or any accusation here is merely a coincidence and not meant to hurt or harm. And of course, this entire post is hypothetical.

Someone I know is a conspiracy theory buff. He asked a question today about a disease that is predominantly sexually transmitted and has claimed millions of lives across the world, esp in Africa and Asia. While medicines can keep the disease causing germ in control, it can never be cured and the patient does face certain amount of social stigma for life.

Now the question asked was: There is a rumour that the said disease has a known cure or vaccination but this cure is not allowed to be made public by large companies. Is this rumour true?

The number given was 84 and the chart and significators are as follows:

KP dealt with rumour verification through horary in its 6th Reader, page 171-172. It says, "One has to judge the third house for any information or correspondence or communication or report.

We have to find out the sub lord of the third cusp; note in which constellation the sub lord is deposited. If the lord of the constellation in which the sub lord is deposited happens to be Saturn then the report is false. But if Mars then it is mischievous and false. If it is Jupiter then its true; and if the lord happens to be any planet that is connected with Saturn in any manner then the report is false; but connected with Jupiter, the report is correct. This is the way to find out whether a rumour is believable or not."

Lets look at our chart. The third cuspal sublord is Venus. Venus is deposited in a constellation owned by Jupiter. What does that tell us...the rumour is true.

Looking at Nadi significations. The current DBA is VE-RA-JU. Venus is also the 3rd CSL.

 If 3 11, 3 6 11, 3 10 11 is signified in the DBA then the rumour is true. If 3 6 8 12 is signified then the rumour is false.

Venus clearly signifies 3 10 11 at Planet level. The 5 8 12 at star and sub level indicates to a scandal but not to the rumour being false (that would have to be 3 6 8 12 remember?).

Rahu doesnt signify positive or negative combinations and neither does Jupiter.

But based on Venus, one would have to conclude that Nadi agrees with KP.

Post mortem astrology

I saw an article on Salman Khan today in the online version of a leading newspaper. This sort of astrology is exactly what irritates me.

This is what I call post mortem astrology, i.e. after something has happened, the so-called astrologer will tell you that its going to happen. Yes, you read that right. For example, this particular astrologer made the following points:

1) "The presence of Mars in the 10th house makes for Ruchaka Yoga, which bestows him with strength to defeat his enemies. Such people are often found in defence, army or police but since Venus also accompanies Mars in the 10th house, Salman happened to be more interested in the world of lights, camera and action! Ruchaka Yoga, backed with a strong Venus, is what makes Salman Khan the superstar of Hindi cinema"

-- in other words, the astrologer is not predicting anything. In fact saying that Salman Khan should have been in a defence profession, but he is not...so now looking desperately for a planet or a aspect that causes the reality to fit a post mortem prediction....aaah....theres Venus. So he must be in films. A 3 year old kid can tell you Salman Khan is in films, you dont need to be a astrologer for that.

2) " The Dabangg Khan believes in speaking his heart out most of the time without giving a damn as to what people would think of him. While it’s entertaining to listen to him most of the time, there have been instances in the past when his comments were not received well. This is because of placement of Rahu in the house of speech, which is the second house of birth chart "

-- but again we know this already. Another case of fitting the chart to what is being observed as reality.

3) "However, Jupiter’s dasa, which will continue till the mid of July, might put him in severe trouble in the coming weeks. Interestingly, it is during this period that Salman might have to go to Bombay High Court for his next hearing in the hit-and-run case. "

-- Hello everyone knows the probable court dates. What exactly is the prediction here?

4) The next 2 points are genuine attempts at prediction: a) His next movie will do really well (but any trade analyst or a glossy journo could have told you that) and b) Salman Khan will get married at 55.

Let see.

I have nothing against this particular astrologer. Just that the frivolous non-predictions made like this discredit the already under the scanner art of Jyotish.

Will my mother get into serious legal problems?

This was a query  from someone who had consulted with me earlier. Apparently there have been issues at his/her mother workplace and she fears that there may be some legal impediment or litigation hurled in her direction.

The mother does not have her time of birth recorded and instead of spending time on trying to fix the time of birth and checking and rectifying and re-checking, I requested the child to give me a number between 1 and 249. The reply was "102" and the question asked was substantively what has been taken as the title of the post here.

Since the question pertained to the number-giver's mother, I rotated the resultant birth chart to make the 4th house as the ascendant.

The following are the chart and significators:

Litigation is possible only if Saturn or Rahu or Ketu is one of the DBA planets. As we can see above the current DBA for the prashna kundali is Ketu-Rahu-Rahu. Both Rahu and Ketu are first rate malefics and their dominance in the DBA is indicative of the mind of the questioner and also of the answer.

Now look at the significations of the DBA lords. Ketu signifies 8 in planet, 12 in star and 6 8 in sub. Rahu signifies 6 8 in both the planet and the sub. Thus, the chart is indicating that litigation will happen.

However the native need not go crazy with worry as the chart is also indicating relief. 6 11/ 10 11/ 6 10 are indications of win in litigation or atleast the securing of bail.

These positive combination appear at Sub levels of both the DBA lords. Also, 6th CSL (6 is prime house of court cases) is also Rahu. So even 6th CSL is indicating both litigation and relief.

In fact apart from two planets, Saturn and Mars, every other planet is indicating relief combinations of varying strength.

So I feel while litigation may happen, the native will be able to successfully come out of it in the end. There may also be an element of outside court settlement as 5 or 9 or both (5 and 9) are present in most planets. 

Ireland: What will be the result of the referendum on Gay marriage?

In a few hours, more than 3 million people in Ireland will be asked if they want the constitution of the country to be changed to allow gay marriage. Ireland will reportedly be the first country in the world to hold such a referendum.

The deeply catholic country has had its own cultural views of gay marriage and other issues. For example, homosexuality was de-criminalised only in 1993 and divorce was introduced in 1995. Abortions remain largely prohibited.

As the polls open in a few hours (counting to started on Sunday), I wondered what the result might be. The opinion polls before hand have dropped from 64% in favour of gay marriage (as of December 2012) to a slim 53% in favour this month, so it may not be a cake-walk for the LGBT community in Ireland.

Lets, see what the starts say. I cast a chart with the seed 68:

The ongoing DBA is JU-MA-VE. Jupiter signifies 3 11 at star and 11 at sub levels. Mars signifies 3 11 at sub level and while Venus is not particularly favourable or unfavourable to the result coming in favour of gay marriage. Mostly what I notice is the virtual absence of 6 8 12 that would suggest a vote against it.

I decided to check if this result was validated by the options theory. So I put up two options:

1) Gay marriage will be favoured OR
2) Gay marriage will not be favoured

Ruling planets:
Ascendant sign lord: Sun
Moon star lord: Jupiter (posited in star of Mercury which is retrograde, hence Jupiter ignored)
Moon sign lord: Moon
Day lord: Venus

Sun owns Leo (5), Moon owns Cancer (4), Venus owns Taurus (2) and Libra (7). So the numerical value is: 5+4+2+7=9+9=18=1+8=9

Since options are less than nine and also less than the single digit numerical value of the ruling planets, I will deduct the options from the RP value till I get a remainder which is less than the number of options:

9-2=7-2=5-2=3-2=1

Therefore option 1 is correct, Gay marriage will be favoured in the Irish referendum. This also ties up with the chart reading above. 

Will Mr. X cease being the CM of a state before a year is up?

I know someone who follows politics quite passionately. Seeing the ugly developments in a state of India, he asked if the CM of that state would cease being the CM before a year is through.

I reframed the question as follows:

Will the X person (name withheld for obvious reasons, but we can refer to him as Yugpurush) cease being the CM (Chief Minister) before May 22, 2016?

The seed that was given was 184. The chart and significators are as follows:

In cases where the querent wishes for a person to go away from a post, when 1,5,6,9,10,11 appears in the DBA the result is according to the wishes of the native. If however 6,8,12 appears then the result is against the wishes of the native.

The ongoing DBA is of JU-SU-MA. Jupiter signifies 1 5 6 10 11, Sun 5 9 10 and Mars 5 9 10. There is 8 12 combination in Mars at star and planet levels, hence less powerful compared to the 5 9 10 signification which is at SUB level.

It appears that Yug purush will not be the CM beyond May 22, 2016.

While not strictly the purview of the question, I wanted to check if the approximate date of his ouster can be predicted using the options theory.

The date ranges for options I chose were as follows:
1) Upto 22.6.15 2) Upto 22.7.15 3) Upto 22.8.15 4) Upto 22.9.15 5) Upto 22.10.15 6) Upto 22.11.15 7) Upto 22.12.15 8) Upto 22.1.16 9) Upto 22.2.16 10) upto 22.3.16 11) Upto 22.4.16 12) Upto 22.5.16

The ruling planets at the time of judgement are:
Ascendant star lord: Mercury
Moon star lord: Jupiter
Moon sign lord: Mercury
Day lord: Venus

Jupiter is in the star of Mercury, Mercury is retrograde and hence Jupiter will be ignored.

Mercury owns rashis 3 and 6, Venus owns 2 and 7. The numerical value of the ruling planets will be: 3+6+3+6+2+7 = 27

Since number of options is more than nine, we will not reduce the numerical value further, but leave it at 27.

Let us subtract the options number from 27: 27-12= 15. 15 is still larger than the options number. Let us subtract the options number once more. 15-12=3. The third option is the correct one.

Yugpurush will cease to be the CM of his state between July 22, 2016 to August 22, 2016.

Whether Geelani get a passport to travel from India?

Sitting at my desk after a post dinner walk, I was browsing through a news website. The topmost news pertains to a passport issue, and it is something like this:

A secessionist based out of the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir wants to travel to Saudi Arabia to meet his friends, family, etc. Now refusing to pledge allegiance to India, or even admit that he is a citizen of the country he obviously cannot be issued a passport.

It is no surprise that the BJP government has been hounded by a some political parties asking them to issue a visa on humanitarian grounds, while others are asking BJP to not give in until Mr. Geelani admits that he is an Indian. This makes sense, unless he is an Indian, and admits as much, how can India issue him a passport. Now if BJP grants him the passport, the opposition is likely to say that BJP caved in to terrorists, separatists etc. If BJP refuses the passport, the opposition will likely say that BJP is "playing politics" and doesn't have a heart.

So what should the BJP do? Cave in and look weak or refuse and project strength? What I believe the BJP should do is secondary. But the thought did arise in my mind, to ask the stars what the BJP would in actuality do.

The seed I chose was 162 and the following chart (and significators) were cast:

The rules as per KP horary are quite clear. As Page 320 of the 6th Reader states,"If the sublord of the 11th house is in the constellation of the significator of the houses 3, 9 and 11, you will surely receive the passport.

The 11th CSL is Venus, Venus is posited in Jupiter's constellation. Jupiter is significator of 9 by occupation, 2 & 5 by ownership and 8, 11, 6 through its starlord's occupation and ownership. Clearly, since 11 and 9 are being signified, the government will either cave in or Geelani will follow the law and eventually passport will be issued.

For an academic interest, I decided to analyse the passport issue from a Nadi angle. Since it pertains to attainment of travel documentation, the favourable combination will be 3 11, 3 10 11 or 3 6 11.

Lets look at 3rd CSL, Mercury. Mercury is not signifying 6 8 12 or 8 12 suggesting that passport is not denied. Now lets turn our attention to the DBA. The ongoing DBA is of JU-JU-ME. ME antara is ending on July 17, 2015.

Jupiter signifies 7 8 12 in the sub and 6 8 12 combination (8 12 in sub, 6 in star). 7 8 12 suggests open aggression by Geelani and passport authorities and 6 8 12 suggests that passport will be denied to him.

Mercury is the only planet of the DBA that is not denying the passport. Even then it is not even allowing the passport, i.e. while it does not have negative combinations, it does not have positive combinations either.

The ONLY planet with a positive passport combination is Ketu which has 3 6 11/ 3 11/ 3 10 11. But even that planet is afflicted by the presence of a 6 8 12 combination!

This is indeed a conundrum, where one method is talking of passport receipt and the other of passport denial.

For now, looking at the strong denial in Nadi, I will conclude that Passport will not be issued to Geelani. If at all he has a slim chance it is after July 17th 2015. But I would not ask him to hold his breath.

The final result here will be an education indeed!

Heading to the finals of the IPL matches

IPL, or the Indian Premier League, is a unique phenomenon in Indian cricket. Without going too much into its controversies or cons, let me focus on something more important: the study of astrology.

In my earlier blog, with God's blessings, I had been able to predict the result of the last six matches of the play-offs with a virtually cent per cent success rate. The link for that write-up is below:

I see that one of the finalists has already been selected:Mumbai. The second finalist would be decided by the Chennai vs. Bangalore match to be held tomorrow. I wanted to try my hand at predicting the outcome of this match, and perhaps beyond.

I asked the queston: Will Chennai win the IPL match vs. Bangalore, to be held on May 22, 2015? The seed I gave was 108.

The following were the chart and significators:

As per traditional KP Rules:
If the 6th cuspal sublord signifies 6th and 11th house without signifying 5th and 12th house, then victory is assured. But if the 7th cuspal sublord is a significator of 5th and 12th without signifying 6th and 11th, then the opponent will win.

As can be seen from above, the 6th cuspal sublord is Mercury. Mercury signifies XI through the ownership of its sublord Moon. Mercury does not signify either of the negative houses 12th or 5th. Prima facie, this indicates a victory for Chennai.

Lets look at the 7th cuspal sublord, i.e. Rahu. Rahu is signifying I by occupation and X and XI by the occupation and ownership of its starlord Moon. Rahu is not signifying either the 12th or 5th house. Again, this suggests the victory for Chennai.

Lets look at Nadi rules:
The 6th CSL is Mercury. 6th cusp is the prime house of victory. Mercury is signifying positive houses of 10,11 at the star level, 1 10 at sub level and planet level. There is no negative combination of 6 8 12. This augurs well for Chennai.

The ongoing DBA is R-KE-ME.

Rahu signifies exactly the same houses as Mercury, and is hence positive for victory.

Ketu is signifying, 11 at planet level, 6 at star level, 10 at sub level. Hence a scattered combination of 6 10 11 exists and no negative 6 8 12 or 7 8 12 is there. Again, good for Chennai.

Mercury is positive for victory as seen earlier as cuspal sublord.

Based on this it is clear that Chennai will emerge victorious.

But lets look at this from another perspective, that of the opponent:

I asked the question: Will Bangalore win the IPL match vs. Bangalore, to be held on May 22, 2015? The seed I gave was 97.

The following are the chart and significators for Bangalore:

The 6th CSL is Saturn. Saturn is in the star or a retrograde planet (its own), that usually gives negative results. As per Page 231, Astro Secrets & Krishnamurti Paddhati by K Subramaniam, "In Horary astrology interpreted according to the rules of the Krishnamurti Paddhati, a planet deposited in the constellation of retrograde planet does not denote favourable results, while a retrograde planet deposited in the constellation of of planet direct in course will deny favourable results till it changes motion. The same rule does not hold good in respect of a radical chart (birth horoscope)."

At this point, KP is clearly indicating that Bangalore will lose.

For academic interest let us continue examining the chart further for now. Saturn is signifying the 6th house by its rashi ownership. It is not signifying the negative houses of 5 and 12.

The 7th CSL is Moon. Moon is signifying 12 by rashi ownership and not signifying any positive houses. So 6th CSL is saying Bangalore will win, 7th CSL is saying that Chennai is win. This is indeed an unclear result. (But we know the result based on KP rules)

Lets look at Nadi significations:

The 6th CSL is Saturn as seen earlier. Saturn is signifying 6 8 12, 5 8 12 and 7 8 12 at star and sub levels very clearly. There are no positive combinations of 6 10 11 or 10 11 or 6 11 either, being signified by Saturn. This signals defeat for Bangalore. Note that this is exactly as per the result of KP.

Normally I would not have examined the DBA, as DBA lords cannot offer what the primary house cuspal sublord has unequivocally denied. But just for kicks, lets examine the DBA. The relevant DBA is RA-VE-VE.

Rahu signifies 2 10  11. This is positive for Bangalore.

Venus signifies 5 8 12 at sub and star level which indicates scandal and/or struggle quite clearly.

Looking at the 6th CSL being in the star of a retrograde planet, the 6th CSL denying victory and the less than optimum significations of the DBA lords, I have to conclude that Bangalore will lose and Chennai will win the IPL match to be played on May 22, 2015.

So the final will be played between Mumbai Vs. Chennai!

Who will win the US Presidential polls?

The political slugfest is already underway for what some might consider to be the most important election in the world. While the ballots will be cast only on November 8, 2016, the process of potential candidates throwing their hats into the electoral ring has already begun. While some have outright announced their intentions, others have dropped hints or appointed exploratory committees. This is true for both, the Republican and the Democrat, sides of the aisle.

From what I understand of the process is that a bunch of people from each party will present their candidature and defend their case in front of supporters of that party itself. Then depending upon the response the party selects their candidate. These are called primaries and I believe are the best way there is to judge eligibility and a true democratic method. The the selected candidates (one from each opposing party) face off in a long, tiring campaign that culminates at the hustings...and Voila...the President of the United States (POTUS) is elected.

While many names are doing the rounds today, there could be more additions and deletions in the already long list as the days, weeks and months pass. Instead of beating around the bush I wondered if the stars would oblige me with the name of the final winner (in terms of Party) today itself.

I asked two questions and gave the following seeds:

1) Will USA have a Democrat party candidate as President after the 2016 elections? Seed: 94

2) Will USA have a Republican party candidate as President after the 2016 elections? Seed: 50

Lets look at each set of the charts one-by-one. The chart and significators for Q1 are as follows:

As per traditional KP Rules:
If the 6th cuspal sublord signifies 6th and 11th house without signifying 5th and 12th house, then victory is assured. But if the 7th cuspal sublord is a significator of 5th and 12th without signifying 6th and 11th, then the opponent will win.

In the chart above, the 6th cuspal sublord is Jupiter. Jupiter is signifying 12th by occupation and 5th by ownership. It is also signifying the 11th through the ownership of its star lord. On the face of it, its 12th (defeat) house signification is stronger than the 11th (winning) house signification.

Lets, look at it from the 7th house (opponents) perspective. The 7th house sublord is Venus. It is signifying 12th house by the occupation of its star lord. It is signifying the 5th house through the ownership of its star lord. It is signifying the 11th by its own occupation. So 7th sub lord is also signifying a victory house of opponent (12th) at a higher level than the victory house for democrats (11th).

Based on KP, the answer is tilting towards a democrat loss.

Let us look at Nadi methodology as well:

Since the presidential elections are on November 8, 2016 and results perhaps soon there after, we need to look at the relevant DBA then. The DBA applicable is RA-KE-MO. Moon antara starts on 7th November 2016 and ends on 8th December 2016. Fair to assume that polls and counting will start and end within this date range. It is interesting to note that MO features in the DBA of a prashna kundali that is dealing with a government.

As per Nadi, 2 6 10 11 significations in the DBA of the polls will signify victory. If 6 8 12 is signified, then defeat.

Rahu is signifying 2 10 11 at the Planet and Sub level.
Ketu signifies 6 at star level and 8 12 at planet level. But it is also signifying 2 10 11 at the sub level.
Moon is also signifying 2 10 11 at star and sub levels.
The 6th CSL is Jupiter. Jupiter is signifying 2 10 11 at sub level.

This is quite in contrast to the answer given by Krishnamurti Paddhati.

Let us leave this here for now and examine  Q2. The chart and significators are as follows:

The 6th cuspal sublord is Rahu. Rahu is signifying 1 2 3...ie no planets for defeat, but no planets for victory either. The 7th cuspal sublord (opponents) is Mercury. Mercury is signifying 1 2 4 12. Thus 7th cuspal sublord is indicating victory for the opponent ie democrats.

Lets look at Nadi methodology now. The relevant DBA is RA-KE-SA. Saturn antara runs from 15th September 2016 to 13th November 2016.

Rahu is signifying a solitary positive house '2' at the star level, but vyaya shtan 12 (house of loss) once each at planet, star and sub level. Notably, Rahu is also the 6th CSL.

Ketu is signifying 2 and 10 at planet level but 5 8 at star level and 12 at sub level. Its is also signifying 7 at planet level. Thus two negative combinations are present 5 8 12 and 7 8 12. 5 8 12 is indicative of a financial or a sex scandal and 7 8 12 is indicating gain and victory to the opponent.

Saturn is signifying 5 8 at planet and star level, it also has 2 10 positive houses at sub level. But I don't think these are enough to over rule the negatives of the dasha and bhukti.

Thus will KP gave mixed results for victory for Democrats, it was very clear in indicating loss for the Republicans. Also, Nadi was clear on both fronts, it gave a clear victory to the Democrats and a clear defeat to the Republicans.

I am not going into candidate status now, maybe I will examine democrat candidates when their primaries are finalised.

But for now the prediction is clear: After the 2016 elections, a candidate from the Democrat Party will be the President of the United States of America.

A royal marriage

Prince Harry, or rather Henry Charles Albert David, born 15th September 1984 is widely considered the most eligible bachelor in all of the United Kingdom. While some of his party pictures may have shocked a few, for others he seems to be a nice guy leading a normal life for his age and culture. Having served in the armed forces for his country and well known for his charity efforts, his personal life may have sparked curiosity amongst a few.

I decided to figure out when would his marriage be decided or even perhaps solemnized. After all he is now thirty years old and his brother got married when he was about 29-30 and his father around 32-33, so it about that time in the royal family!

So on a whim I decided to ask the stars on what they have decided for Prince Harry and they answered. I have taken his chart details from:

The chart constructed along with the Nadi significators is as follows:

As can be gauged from the significators table, Ketu, Jupiter and Saturn are rejecting marriage outright. From the remaining this is the descending order of significators in terms of strength to allow marriage:

MO SU RA MA ME VE

Harry is currently running the Dasha of Rahu (till December 2024), so this is a conducive time for him to get married. Of the Bhuktis, Rahu, Jupiter and Saturn are already over. He is currently in the Bhukti of Mercury (upto June 2017).

Now let us look at the Antaras. Mercury Antara is over, he is currently  in Ketu Antara which is till 9th June 2015. Ketu rejects marriage as we have seen earlier. So marriage is difficult till June 2015.

The next antara is Venus. This period runs from 10th June 2015 to 11th November 2015. Techincally, the fixing of marriage is possible here, but we need to look at transits to confirm this. I look at Sun transits. Sun needs to transit either a Mercury sign - Rahu Sub or a Rahu sign - Mercury Sub. Since no sign exists for Rahu, we may consider its occupancy owner as its representative. Rahu is occupant of Taurus, a Venus owned sign. There exists no Ve-Me sign star combination. So we can ignore this and look only for the Sun transiting through a Mercury sign and Rahu sub. So is the transit Sun passing through either a Me-Ra sign-star combination during the period 10th June 2015 to 11th November 2015? Yes, it is passing through Gemini (Me) - Ra during the period 21st June to 5th July 2015.

Let us look at Nadi rules to confirm that this is the period. Nadi rules of transit say that:
Any three planets (not necessarily from the DBA) that allow the event should either:
1) conjoin in one house and one sign
2) aspect each other
3) transit significator houses (2 7 11 in this case)
4) aspect the significator houses
5) transit over their natal positions

Unfortunately, none of the Nadi conditions are getting satisfied during this period. There is only one day when 3 planets are aspecting the 11th house. That day is 5th July. But on that date none of the following pinpoint conditions are getting satisfied:

a) Transiting planet signifying event transits over the exact degree of a signifying planet in the natal chart, OR

b) Two planets signifying events transit a sign and are conjunct within one degree, OR

c) Any one planet signifying the event transits exactly over the cuspal degree of a significator house,OR

d) Moon conjoins with three planets signifying event (assuming Moon is also a signifying planet), OR

e) The transit of the Antara lord is in a star owned by a favourable planet.

As can be seen from the transit chart, none of the above conditions are getting satisfied. In fact, the Antara lord, Venus, is actually in the star of Ketu, which is one of the three planets denying the event.

Thus even though the DBA is favourable, we have to reject this set of days, as transits are not allowing the event (fixing of marriage).

The we look at the next antara of Sun, whose period is 12th November 2015 to 28th December 2015. Sun is allowing marriage and so we can examine it further for transit. Is the Sun passing through Me-Ra sign-star combination during this period? The answer is NO!

Now we look at the next antara that of Moon, which runs from 29th December 2015 to 15th March 2016. Is the Sun passing through the Me-Ra combination during this period? The answer is NO!

The next antara is of Mars, which runs from 16th March 2016 to 18th May 2016. Is the Sun passing through the Me-Ra combination during this period? The answer is NO!

The next antara is of Rahu, which runs from 9th May 2016 to 25th September 2016. Is the sun passing through the Me-Ra combination during this period? It is! During the period, 21st June to 4th July 2016.

On these dates, the transit conditions 3 and e are getting satisfied.
3: Sun and Venus have 7th aspect on XI, Rahu has 9th aspect on II, Mars has 7th aspect on II. In fact on 4th July, Mercury, Sun, Moon and Venus have 7th aspect on XI, Mars has 7th on II and Rahu has 9th on II as well.

e: The antara lord, Rahu, is posited in the star of Venus, a favourable planet.

The transit chart is:

The marriage is most likely to be fixed at this time (21st June 2016 to 5th July 2016)...phew! 

So...will I get a royal invite? :)

While not strictly the purview of this post, the presence of Rahu twice in the DBA and Mercury indicates that the girl may be from a different social status than the Prince (ie perhaps not of same nationality or from regal blood or something like that), Mercury suggests that she will be quite younger than him. Like I said, I havent studied this in detail, but just based on the event offering planets.

Hope God gives him, whatever is best for him.

Will I be able to do a PhD?

PhD, or Philosophiae Doctor, is the demonstration of the peak of analytical thought, research competence and knowledge depth. A candidate is required to devote three to five years, to single-minded research of his or her chosen subject, that culminates into a final dissertation and a defence of the research work in front of subject scholars. It would not be wrong to say that a 'PhD' is the crowing glory of one's academic career. 

I was posed the question "Will I be able to successfully complete my PhD course?" by someone who had just just begun this journey to earning a PhD. This person is a successful professional already with many years of experience. The thought and motivation to do PhD arose rather late in 40s age category and decided to check with me if efforts would be eventually rewarded.

My analysis

The houses needed for education are as follows:

2: Accumulation of knowledge

4: Prime house of education

9: Higher education

11: Gain. 11th is the catalyst that helps translate the good results of other houses quickly.

Secondary houses:

5: Intelligence and comprehension of the native

3: Primary house of written work, communication etc

The below is the birth chart of the native:

Lets analyse this using Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) rules:

KP says that the Ascendant (ASC/ 1st house) describes the nature of the native. If the cuspal sublord (CSL) of the ASC is Mercury or Jupiter, it indicates the native's bent of mind towards studies. Saturn on the other hand suggests some obstacles in the studies. As can be see above, the ASC CSL is Saturn, this indicates that this person has seen a life with some struggles, education is not insulated from this tendency.

If the 4th CSL signifies 4 and/or 11, it shows completion of general education. The 4th CSL (above) is Moon. Moon is signifying 11 by ownership and occupation and 2 by occupation of its starlord Ketu. In line with this, the native has completed the basic education upto post graduation. If the 4th CSL had signified 3 or 8 or 12 it would have indicated failures and difficulty in education. This is not the case here and further supportive of the fact that the native has comfortably completed education upto post graduation levels.

To analyse advanced education (like PHD),

If the 9th CSL, signifies 4 or 11, it indicates completion of PhD-like levels of education

Alternatively, if the 11th CSL is signifying the 9th cusp, it also indicates advanced education. If it only signifies the 4th cusp, then regular education is indicated. 

To look for specialization, we need to see the 3rd CSL and analyse if it signifies either the 4th or 9th or 11th cusp for a favourable reading. 

For the native in this case, the 9th CSL is also Saturn. The planet is one of delays and struggle. Saturn is resident of the 6th cusp and owns the 5th and 6th cusp by rashi ownership. Thus the 9th CSL is not indicating either of the favorable houses 4 or 11.

The 11th CSL is Jupiter. Jupiter is the house of higher learning and wisdom. Jupiter is signifying the 4th and 7th houses by ownership and the 10th house by its own occupation. Again, we see that while 4th house of education has been signified, the 9th house needed for PhD is not. 

The 3rd CSL is Mercury. Mercury is again a karaka for 'buddhi', which is a good thing. But its significations are of houses are 10, 4, 7, 3 and 8. The houses needed for specialization ie 4 and/ or 9 are not being signified. 

Thus while the native's grit, determination and intelligence aided by the presence of Jupiter and Mercury as sub lords of the 11th and 3rd cusp respectively have allowed the completion of post-grad level of studies and a respectable career, KP rules do not indicate a favourable pre-disposition for PhD studies.

I decided to cross check the results using the Nadi system, which is another flavor of stellar astrology. The significators of the Nadi system are as follows:

Favourable combinations for education are: 4 11, 4 9 11 and 5 11 (especially for a PhD student). As can be seen from above, these combinations appear only in four planets: Sun, Moon, Jupiter and Mercury. The natives, Sun and Moon Dasha ended in April 2004. Currently, the Rahu dasha is on till April 2029. Rahu is a first rate malefic. Rahu is signifying 8 11 (which suggests inheritance, provident fund, insurance proceeds, etc), it is also signifying 11 12, which indicates gains after spending money, again a good combination. However, it is not signifying good education combinations. 

Since a PhD course can run for 3 to 5 years, the bhuktis of Jupiter (ending May 2016), Saturn (ending April 2019) and Mercury (ending October 2021) will be relevant for us to examine: 

Jupiter signifies 4 at the star level and 11 at the sub level. So Jupiter may support education. 

Saturn signifies 5 6 at all levels. This is not supportive for education at all.

Mercury signifies 5 at star level and 11 at Sub level. So Mercury is supportive for education as well.

But, It is evident that a chunk of the next 3-4 years will go in Saturn Bhukti which is not positive for education. To exacerbate that is the Dasha lord, Rahu, who is also not positive for education. 

It will not be wrong to say that Nadi system is conforming the results of the Krishnamurti Paddhati. PhD is extremely difficult to be attained by the native over the next 3 - 4 years.

To triple check these results, I asked the native for a number to do a horary check. The native gave the number: 45. The below is the chart and the Nadi significators:

Using KP rules once again:

9th CSL is Ketu. Ketu is signifying 6 10 8 9. It is not signifying the 4 and or 11 needed for completing advanced education.

The 11th CSL is Rahu. Rahu is signifying 12 4 2, again it is not signifying the 9th cusp which supports advanced education but only the 4th cusp which is for general education.

Looking at at the Nadi significators below for the horary chart:

Current DBA is Moon-Saturn-Rahu. Since PhD will run for 3-4 years, the Bhuktis of Mercury, Ketu and Venus become relevant to us as well.

Moon is signifying full combination of 6 8 12, this indicates failure. Solitary significations of 'good education houses' 2, at Planet and Star level, and 9, at Sub level, will not be enough to overcome 6 8 12.

Saturn or Mercury or Ketu or Venus aren't particularly strong for education either as no good education combinations of 4 11, 5 11 or 4 9 11 occur even once here.

Ketu is also the sublord of the 9th cusp of higher education. Ketu signifies 6 8 12 (failure), underlining what the natal horoscope is saying.

Conclusion:
While the horoscope is very supportive of education up till the graduate and post graduate levels, success in PhD is NOT indicated, as per my understanding of the horoscope. It might be better for the native to invest time in more productive ventures.

Many questions!

Received an email from someone I dont know who requested for a reading for a few questions they have. Here goes, (with no guarantee expressed or implied or responsibility accepted!):

Marriage question:

One of the questions from native pertained to his marriage. As can be seen from the significators, only three planets are positive for marriage: Sun, Rahu and Jupiter. Venus being the natural significator of marriage is usually considered able to grant marriage even if it negates it by significations. The only exception to this is when Venus signifies the complete marriage denial combination of 1 6 10, which it does in this case. Venus is signifying  1 6 at star level and 10 at Sub level. So we restrict the fruitful significators to Su, Ra and Ju only.

The native’s Rahu Dasha was followed by the Jupiter Dasha which ended on August 22, 2008. Currently he is running the Dasha of Saturn and Bhukti of Ketu. As Saturn is not positive for marriage it will be difficult for marriage to take place till it ends in August 22, 2027. Even after that the Dasha is of Mercury which is also one of the planets granting marriage for the marriage will be pushed forward to Ketu Dasha. Sadly, even Ketu is not granting marriage and only

Thus despite the 7^th Cuspal sublord signifying the 7^th house (prime for marriage) and promising marriage, the absence of favourable DBA combinations means marriage may be denied or perhaps even delayed for this native.

There is a very slim chance of marriage occurring in the Bhukti and Antara of favorable planets despite a negative Dasha lord, but that would be somewhat of a less probability event.

There are however several 5 8/ 5 12/ 5 8 12 combinations in the native’s horoscope, in almost 8 out of the 9 planets. This indicates that the native will have love affairs. 5 8 12 indicates scandalous love affairs as well. Since Saturn is part of the DBA, it affair may be with someone who is of a different social status than the native ie different nationality/ religion/ large age difference etc

I decided to confirm the results by asking the native to give me a horary number and check out the horary chart:

For the marriage question, the native answered over email: 42.

The chart cast has Ketu as the 7^th CSL. As per KP, Ketu is signifying 10 by occupation and 9, 10 and 6 by the ownership and occupation of its star lord Saturn. Thus Ketu, the 7^th CSL is effectively denying marriage.

This denial is evident even when we look at Ketu;s significations using the Nadi rules.

The ongoing DBA is SU-SA-RA. Sun is neutral marriage at the planet and star level but denying it at sub level by signifying 6 and 10. Saturn denies marriage at planet and Star level and sis neutral at the Sub level. Rahu is neutral throughout for marriage.

Of course, a individuals own karma trumps all charts it is said by many, but based on the birth chart presented to me and the confirmation from the horary, it appears that while the native my find love, it  there is a slim chance at best of actually getting married.

Money/ career question:

The combination to earn a lot of money is 2 6 10 11. While the full combination is not present, 6 11, 6 10 11, 10 11 is present in 7 out of the 9 planets. However, this is peppered by the combination of 5 8 12/ 6 8 12 in 5 planets. This 5 8 12 or 6 8 12 combination is actually quite bad for the career and signifies suspensions, dismissals, insults and obstacles. 6 8 12 is less bad compared to 5 8 12 but still its not an ideal combination to have.

My advice would be for the native to do his work meticulously and not violate any policy or rule for any reason or as a favor to a colleague/ friend. Notably, with the 10 11 combination present in the horoscope, the native will likely be able to triumph over most of these obstacles, but it will be a big waste of time. It would be best if the native can try to avoid these obstacles in the first place and utilize the 10 11 for growth rather than conflict.

The combination of 5 9 is present in many planet (7 out of 9) and indicates that the native may be prone to change jobs/ projects quite often.

Overall the native should be able to make a satisfactory amount of money if he is able to utilize his 10 11 combinations for career growth rather than fighting battles.

The current dasha is of Saturn, generally the native in the dasha of either SA/RA/KE will work with a smaller team.

Notably, I see a lot of 8 11 combinations in the horoscope, this suggests that the native will be the beneficiary of windfall gain/ gifts or property inheritance.

To check the above assessment wrt money, I asked the native for a number. He replied: 68.

In the chart cast, I looked at the DBA and the significators. The DBA is of SU-ME-VE. While Sun is marginally positive at planet and star level at its strongest Sub level it is signifying  7 8. 7 stands for partner or opponent and 8 stands for gain to that person.  So while the native is not particularly discomforted at this time, his true ‘lift off’ will not happen till the Sun Dasha ends in April 2017. The next Dasha is of moon where 10 11 and 11 12 combinations are present. The native’s earnings should become more in line with his expectation then. The presence of 12 along with the 10 and/or 11 suggests that there will be gain after expenditure. So perhaps there will be need for investments which will yield good gains for the native. Even 10^th CSL (ME) and 11^th CSL (MA) signify positive gain combination. 10^th is reputation and 11^th is desire fulfillment. The key time is mid 2017 onwards.

While I don’t see anything really wrong with a partnership, I feel the native might perhaps do more with his own efforts.

Q4: Parents.

Like I said I am principally against analyzing the parents horoscope from the child’s (or anyone’s from anyone else’s rather), I will tell you what I see here. Not sure how accurate, you let me know.

Mother: Turned native chart to make the 4^th cusp the ASC to analyse the mothers horoscope. Quite a few 2 1 6 8 combinations. If she is currently undergoing a depression period, you need to spend more time with her and/or take her to a doctor. If there is any such issue, medicines will be able to help her.

2^nd house has malefics Saturn and ketu. Along with 2 1 6 8 this suggests a lack of discipline in food and drink. Any excess if at all being indulged in must be avoided and a healthier life style must be encouraged.

Out of curiosity, has she undergone any surgeries or slated to go through surgeries?  Does she have any chronic diseases?

RK-KK wedding, will it happen?

Hypothetically speaking:

Been reading quite a bit about an upcoming wedding of two entertainment professionals from India. Both are pretty famous and there have been rumours of a blow hot-blow cost relationship between them.

Out of curiosity, I asked the stars if they would tell me if the RK-KK marriage would actually happen in the first place? The seed I took was 94.

The following were the chart and significators:

Moon indicates if the query is valid or not. Moon signifying 5 and 8 indicating a love affair that was more than platonic. It also indicates the 7th house of marriage. Even the DBA is of JU-VE-VE, VE being the natural karaka of marriage. This tells us that the query is valid and we can proceed to investigate the chart further.

KP rules states that if a marriage is promised then 7th CSL should signify either 7 or 2 or 11. The 7th CSL here is Venus. Venus is signifying 1 10. Both houses negate marriage. At the first go, this proposal looks like a non starter.

Next lets look at it through the Nadi methodology. The following are the houses signified by the DBA (VE is both the cuspl sublord and the BA of the DBA):

JU 5 8 12             VE 3 10
2 9 11                   1 2 9 11
3 10                      3 6 7

Assigning scores, we can see that both the DBA and the cuspal sublord is allowing marriage. But the answer isnt overwhelming, like I expected it to be. I am sure there is bound to be a a roller coaster ride to get this show on the road. For example, VE show the full combination of separation as well as marriage and comes out ahead in favour of marriage by just a nose.

SU, MO and SA deny marriage, while the rest allow. ME, KE and RA are the three strongest significators of marriage followed be VE, JU, MA.

The high prevalence of the scandalous love affair combination 5 8 12 will likely have something to do with the tumult. 5 8 12 occurs in 5 planets including Jupiter, the Dasha lord.

But as far as the stars are telling me, the marriage will happen. Based on a quick glance at transits, it might happen in the last week of December 2015 upto 10th of Jan 2016.

Remaining IPL match predictions - for academic purposes only

Cricket is a religion in India, or so they say. I must be the exception to the rule. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am not interested in the game at all. Sure when I was younger at actual sporting level I have played cricket, but as the commercial establishment of IPL or even Indian cricket team, I genuinely find most matches boring.

I find predicting games very difficult, primarily because I don't do much of it at all. Someone who is more interested than me follows the prediction of a 'celebrity astrologer' and says that he keeps getting is wrong most of the time.

So for academic purposes only, here are my predictions of the remaining IPL league level games. Some of the answers came clearly, some were notoriously hard to predict. In such cases I havent stuck to rules but actually tried to improvise. for example, the Bangalore vs. Delhi game on 17/5, the "rules" were not giving a clear answer but had a slight positive for Bangalore. The chart for Delhi infact quite readily indicates opponent win. In fact as per Nadi rules, Delhi even displays a scattered combination of 6 8 12 in its Dasha lord (JU). But yes, I have predicted a Delhi win solely because its 6th CSL is more positive than Bangalore's 6th CSL. Lets see if I am right, or if I learn!

As can be seen the 7th cuspal sublord is is Mars. Mars is posited in the 10th cusp and owns 1st, 5th and 6th. Mars is in the Sub of moon, which owns 9th cusp and is posited in the 2nd cusp. While ownership of 1, 6 and 10 is directly detrimental to marriage, Mars is also signifying houses 2 (marriage house) and supporting houses 9 and 5. Thus we can say that marriage is not denied to my friend.

Nadi:
The 7th cuspal sublord Mars signifies 1 6 10 at the planet level which is harmful for marriage. But is signifies positive house 2 and 9 at the Nakshatra level and 7 11 at the Sub level. Thus again concluding that marriage is not denied to her.

Overall from the Nadi significations, it is quite clear that all planets, barring Rahu (rejects marriage at SUB), are positive for her marriage. The planets promising marriage in their descending order of strength are:
Ju, Ve, Su, Ke, Sa, Ma, Mo, Me

Currently she is running a the Dasha of Rahu and is thus unlikely to fix her marriage plans till it is over. Rahu dasha runs till November 12, 2018. After this, Jupiter dasha starts. As the strongest significator of marriage, this dasha, which runs from November 13, 2018 to November 11, 2034 offers the best chances of marriage.

Within Jupiter dasha the first Bhukti is of Jupiter itself. This runs till December 20, 2020. Marriage is possible here, but it will have to happen in a non-Jupiter Antara. This is because at least two planets are needed to offer an event, one planet on its own cannot. So I ignore the first antara (again of Jupiter) and look at the next one. This is of Saturn and the period runs from February 24, 2019 to July 27, 2019.  Marriage is possible for her here.

But let's see if we can narrow the dates down a bit using transits. Using the transit navigator, I see that during the period March 19, 2019 to March 24, 2019, the Sun transits through the sign of Jupiter and the Nakshatra of Saturn within the Pisces sign.

The Nadi rules of transits state, that an event will occur when any three planets that signify the event (all planets in her case for marriage, barring Rahu):
1) Conjoin in one house and one sign OR
2) Aspect each other OR
3) Transit the significator houses (2 7 11 in this case for marriage) OR
4) Aspect the significator houses OR
5) Transit over their natal positions.

Even within this time period, date can be further pinpointed when:
a) A transiting planet signifying the event, transits exactly over the natal degree of a planet (need to be the same planet but both should be event significators) OR
b) Any two planets that signify the event, transit in a sign and are less than 1 degree apart
c) Any planet signifying the event transits over the exact cuspal degree of one of the significator houses (e.g. 2 7 11 in this case of marriage) OR
d) Moon conjoins the three planets signifying the event OR
e) The Antara lord (SA in this case) is in a nakshatra owned by a favourable planet. Favurable planet is a planet that signifies the event.

During March 19 to March 25 2019, the conditions 4 and e get satisfied. During this period,
Sun has this 7th aspect to the XIth cusp, Mars has his 8th aspect to the II and Saturn has his 10th aspect to the XI1. In fact during the dates 22/3, 23/3 and 24/3, there is an additional aspect of Jupiter, 7th aspect on the VII cusp.

If for some reason, marriage is not fixed then, another good period arises in March 2021, from 18/3/2021 to 31/3/2021. Even within this period, the time frame of 26/3 to 30/3 is most sensitive for giving the result of marriage.

The two date sets predicted for her are:
A) March 19, 2019 to March 24, 2019 OR
B) March 26, 2021 to March 30, 2021

I decided to try something different to evaluate which one of the two options is the correct prediction/

I asked my self the questions:
a) Is the Option A prediction correct? Took a seed of 88.
b) Is the Option B prediction correct? took a seed of 15.

The charts DBA was of RA-RA-JU

I ranked the resultant chart and houses for marriage (2 7 11 pro/ 1 6 10 anti), using the weights 1, 2 and 3 for the Planets, Nakshatra and Sub respectively. The scores:

7th Cuspal sublord score: 2. Note 7th CSL was Venus who is also a natural significator of marriage.
